I wanted a 3.5(male) to 2.5(female) jack. (What I already have). Exactly what AccesoryOne advertise. But.I have recived a 2.5(male) to 3.5(female) jack. So, it was thrown away money. No more comments.
My son and I needed this adapter for our new LG phones; it makes for a workable solution to using our phones for music when not carrying an iPod or persional media player. Headphones / earbuds work well with it, and it's just the item to use when traveling lightly.
Research your device to be sure. Original Motorola 3.5mm to 2.5mm Audio Adapter and Converter SKN6183. VERY NICE 3 ring stereo earphone adapter. WRONG NUMBER RINGS WILL RESULT IN MONO. Arrived quickly by USPS. Slim plastic above plug allows plug to fit in tight areas.
The LG Lotus has a small recessed plug jack area but this plug shape fits right in for a perfect connection. (Arrived in Cingular retail package but makes no difference as long as your stereo device is 3 ring 2.5mm compatable). Works perfectly for Sprint LG Lotus cell phone. The plug is slimmer than it appears in the picture. Some stereo devices require 2 ring plug, some 3 ring. Bought from SF Planet.

Maybe it is to sell some $3 adaptor. Let's not get too excited here about a piece of wire but this thing let's me plug a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack into my LG ENV2. Anyhow, I found out a better option for about $50 is to buy the motorola motorokr. Woop dee dooo. Why can't these manufacturers standardize their connections. So check that out if u want to have a wireless solution for an order of magnitude more money. Look at Motorola MOTOROKR S9 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones.
Mono in one ear and a poor connection.- The data port(usb) to 3.5 converter sold on e Bay. I bought "Original Motorola 3.5mm to 2.5mm Audio Adapter and Converter SKN6183" after seeing Stephen Hartman's video review, where he said it worked with the LG VX10000 Verizon Voyager. I'm happy so say this worked in stereo, as required, with the Verizon Venus - LG VX8800 as well.Different items that I have tried in the past that did not work:- Walmart's 5-in-1 audio adapter kit. It says to use the audio port, so the VX8800 does not support data port audio.I'm glad this adapter worked. I'd hate to have another device to recharge (MP3 player or Bluetooth headset).
